Mental Pictures

I like to take pictures but there are so many quick moments in life I wish I could capture. Sometimes I run after the camera but the moment is over or the kids become hams or camera shy, so more often now I just watch and try to remember.

Today I asked Sage to take Benny's shoes off for him while I made a few sandwiches. My heart melted as she carefully sat him on the step stool. Benny was unusually docile while Sage undid the velcro and slipped his shoes off. Then Sage gave him a little kiss and put his shoes away. I was a very happy mama.

Benny loves to sing. I am trying to capture a few on video but so far its a no go. There are even a couple pop songs that include a chorus that babies can sing. Here are his favs: Boom Boom Pow (Boo boo boo), Umbrella Ella Ella-eh eh eh (Ella ella ella ella ella ella ella ella), Ring around the rosies (Ahis, ahis, Boo boo GO!), Row your boat (Impossible to transcribe).

And now on to video editing... Sage has been producing some cooking shows and a super hero show. I cannot keep up with the editing but filming is always fun for both of us.
