We had an awesome holiday season that feels like it is still going on since we are on the Birthday Circuit now. Since we have been home we have been busy managing the growing pains that effect little kids. Both kids seem to be on the upswing thanks to antibiotics, frozen teething rings and major amounts of fiber.
What I really want to remember about this week is:
1. my kids have been playing together very well,
2. Benny has been walking around a lot more and talking a lot more.
3. I finally got Benny to hold still while changing his diaper. I just had to ask.
4. Sage coming home on a rough day and saying, "I am glad that is over."
5. Sage begging me for a unicorn pinata for her party and then begging me not to let the kids break it because it is too beautiful.
6. Sage excitedly telling me who "R.S.V.P. ed" to her at school.
7. Baking my fluffiest batch of bread yet and then cutting it with my new electric knife and keeping it fresh in my new bread box.
8. X-C skiing and even taking on a hill several times until I could ski down it without falling and a few more times until my heart resumed normal BPM.
9. Scott moved his big computer into a better spot for me on my birthday. I love it. I am still working on cleaning up the hard drive so I can edit more movies and working on the ergonomics of this new spot.
10. My birthday was great.

That's maybe the funniest thing I've ever heard. Also, thanks for using the word ergonomics in this post. I think that whenever that word can be used, the better.
Life is good! We are all so blessed and lucky!
